Open Water Certification

Let Turtle Dive bring the wonderous underwater world to you! The Open Water course is a 3 or 4 day experience that will teach you the basics of scuba diving. The focus is on diver safety, but it is also designed to make sure that you have fun at the same time. At the end of the course you will be both comfortable and confident in the underwater environment. The course is broken down into academic sessions, confined water work and 4 open water dives, which are all undertaken at your pace. Don’t worry our experienced instructors are here to help you, make sure that you enjoy the experience, and to help you understand what you are doing and why you are doing it! You are assured of a SAFE & FRIENDLY learning experience when you learn with Turtle Dive.

Advanced Open Water

Take your diving to the next level with an advanced diver course. Whether the advanced open water, or the SSI advanced adventurer enjoy new diving experiences with our experienced instructors. A minimum of 5 dives in specific diving specialties (that must include a deep dive and a navigation dive) opens a whole new world of diving opportunities for you. The courses can be run over 2 or 3 days and are available to any open water diver.

Rescue Diver

Ask any diver, the Rescue Diving Course is often considered the most valuable and rewarding course in diving. With the rescue diver or stress and rescue courses, you will advance your diving knowledge and increase your confidence in the water. These courses are all about safety, for yourself and for the people that you dive with. You will learn about self rescue and also in water rescue techniques and rescue breathing. You will become an asset to every group of divers you dive with. Courses run over 3 or 4 days with a mixture of academic, pool and open water sessions.

A valid first aid certificate is required for the Rescue Diver course. The Emergency First Response program is available and works in conjunction with the Rescue course. Become an emergency first responder with training in CPR, rescue breathing, and first aid. It may just be the most important course you ever take.

Divemaster

Become a professional diver! If it’s your first step in a diving career or just a commitment and love of the sport, the Divemaster program will greatly increase your diving knowledge and shape you into a role model for other divers. A certified divemaster leads dives and can assist instructors in training. Becoming a divemaster shows a dedication to diving and a desire to share this experience with others. This is a tough course, with more knowlerdge development than any other program. Be prepared to study!

An experienced instructor will act as a mentor throughout this program. Dedicated time with an instructor and self-study combine with confined and open water training to make you a complete diver. Become a leader, increase you problem-solving and orgasnizational skills. It’s not just an exercise for your mind either, expect stamina exercises and and other water based skill training. These skills will then be put to the test with practical exercises through an internship or training exercises. There’s no finishing this course until both you and the instructor are confident you’ve mastered all the skills required of a divemaster.
